St. George's University of London have recently joined the Medical Doorway network and are confirmed to attend the event in Dubai. Hosted at GEMS Wellington Academy Silicon Oasis, "Get into Medicine UAE" is bringing a diverse range of medical schools to meet you, your students and their parents. St. George's University of London is one of the UK's best known and respected medical schools. Students and parents will be able to meet SGUL's International Recruitment Manager, Malcolm Davidson and speak with him directly about the medicine programme and the wide range of medical and allied health degrees that SGUL offers. Held at GEMS World Academy in Dubai, you will have the opportunity to meet admissions professionals and vice-deans from a host of medical schools and universities. A packed seminar schedule will also guide through the various options available and provide invaluable knowledge as you make your choices about your future as a doctor, dentist, or health professional.

 

Attendance is free of charge, but capacity is strictly limited. We therefore strongly advise you book tickets immediately as once the event is full, there will be no possibility to attend. Each person attending needs their own ticket (so a student with two parents will need three tickets).

Guest speaker Chris Holloway from Brunel University will be joining us to give you the low down on applying, securing a seat and studying at Brunel. The medical programme at Brunel University is specifically for international students which given the increasing competition is a welcome addition for those determined to study in the UK. In addition, applications can be made outside of UCAS providing a fifth opportunity for aspiring medical students. This webinar is open for students, parents and college counsellors. The Young Lawyer Weekend: For Ages 15-18   Dubai I Sunday 27th November 2022

The Dubai Young Lawyer Weekend gives students aged 15-18 an interactive, hands-on experience alongside top lawyers. The programme is an excellent opportunity for students to get the knowledge and experience they need to become successful lawyers. Participate in a simulated murder trial Experience corporate law Public speaking training Career coaching Q&A time with experienced lawyers  The programme will take place at the Safa Community School on Sunday 27th November. Students from all schools can attend, but places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Lester B scholarship by University of Toronto

 

The Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships at the University of Toronto provide an unparalleled opportunity for outstanding international students to study at one of the world’s best universities in one of the world’s most multicultural cities. The scholarship program is intended to recognize students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and creativity and who are recognized as leaders within their school. A special emphasis is placed on the impact the student has had on the life of their school and community, and their future potential to contribute positively to the global community.

Awarded annually, these scholarships recognize outstanding students from around the world, including international students studying at Canadian high schools. This is U of T’s most prestigious and competitive scholarship for international students. The Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships will cover tuition, books, incidental fees, and full residence support for four years. The scholarship is tenable only at the University of Toronto for first-entry, undergraduate programs. Each year approximately 37 students will be named Lester B. Pearson Scholars.
