I have two
important updates today – one from my team at York University, and the other
from my colleagues hosting the upcoming Study in Canada Virtual University Info
Sessions on October 18, 20, and 27.
- The (wonderful) person who will be covering my position for the
next 12 months while I’m on secondment at the Schulich School of Business
has been hired!
I’m very happy to let you know that an all-star member of the York
University family, Ms. Sunera Ali will be taking over my role as
Regional Recruitment Manager of the Middle East & Turkey on October 25th.
I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with Sunera over the past several
years and she will be a huge help to you and your students. Once she
begins in her role I’ll send a more formal e-introduction, and her contact

We had over 700 students attend these 3 events last year, and I’m sure
the sessions will be worthwhile to anyone considering Canada for their
university studies.

welcome to join the session yourself, and we’d love it if you could share
